Overall goals of the Commonwealth Fencing Federation for the period 2003 - 2006 are:

1. Obtain inclusion of Fencing in the 2010 Commonwealth Games and beyond.
2. Organise Commonwealth Fencing events to the highest possible standards.
3. Increase number of active Nations participating in Commonwealth Fencing.
4. Professionalise the CFF Secretariat to improve servicing and development.

The goals encompass the following key objectives:

• Increase subscriptions to provide adequate funding.
• Seek sponsorship and generated funding.
• Establish a Commission to assist in development and operations of Veteran Fencing.
• Improve the organisation of CFF events & promotion.
• Upgrade and maintain CFF Website to the highest standard of interest and information.
• Conduct a workshop at each CFF World Championship to review and improve organisatation.
